Triptych of three pics. On the left is a pile of white tees coming out of a tunnel dryer featuring a brown screen printed design. Middle is a screen being printed with a squeegee of a funky drawing. Final on the right is of a tee worn by a woman.

Screen Printing

Screen printing is our primary trade & beloved artform here at Soft Power - of which we have honed our skills to perfection over the last decade in the industry.

Most people don’t realise how or why screen printing is still the go-to printing method in the fashion industry today, despite many easier and cheaper digital printing options now being accessible. The reason is simple - quality. Prints applied to a garment with screen printing should last as long as the garment itself lasts; the print never fading, peeling off or looking pixelated to begin with. Unlike digital alternatives, screen printing offers the opportunity to use specialty colours such as metallics, vibrant neons and puff texture prints.

We print with water based inks so the print is gentle on your skin and the planet. Although screen printing is not an inherently environmentally friendly process we do our best to keep our clients and our earth safe. Using water based inks is much nicer on your body as well as the environment. With no solvents used these inks cost the earth less in the manufacturing as well as their disposal. They are also less toxic for our staff.

We are proud of our skills with eco-friendly water-based inks, which are hard to use and rare in the industry.

Pristine Quality

Triptych. First image is of a white tee with embroidered design. Second is of three hats in different colours with embroidery on the front. Third is a brown cap with orange thread embroidered design.

Embroidery

We work very closely with our embroidery team to bring you the most professional embroidered results for your merch.

This decoration method is our favourite choice for custom branded headwear, sturdy workwear such as button ups and overalls as well as polos and collared shirts. This decoration method is perfect for any garment types that are unsuitable for screen printing due to their shape, thickness, or texture of fabric.
